Panel to Include Chris Hopen, CEO and Co-Founder of Switch, Inc.
Newark, NJ - July 12, 2018 –VOICE Summit, the nation’s largest multi-day voice-first conference, announced a new panel focused on how voice technology is shaping the future of financial services.
The conference takes place at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark, NJ, July 24-26, 2018.
On Thursday, July 26, at 1:30 p.m., Chris Hopen, CEO and Co-Founder of Switch, Inc. will be featured on the panel “Fintech’s Leads of the Voice-first Revolution.”Global financial services firms recognize voice-first as the inclusive new frontier and Hopen and other panelists will share their insights from being at the forefront of planning and advocacy strategies for this and other highly regulated industries.

Chris Hopen is known for his ability to be the first to identify and address industry needs with breakthrough solutions, he has led several successful ventures and exits. Serving as its CEO and Co-Founder, his most recent company, Tappin, provided secure remote access to and from any file stored on a device. In 2011, the company was acquired by Globalscape, who continues to offer the product developed by Hopen. Prior to Tappin, Hopen was a Co-Founder and CTO of Aventail, one of the first SSL VPN companies. Aventail was acquired by Sonicwall in 2007. Hopen served as STO for Spry, the first Internet-in-a-box offering, where he met David Pool, Co-Founder of Switch. Spry was acquired by CompuServe in 1996. Hopen has authored more than 14 patents throughout his career.
