Thank you to all who submitted their Alexa skill(s). We are in the process of reviewing submissions and will be announcing a winner on Friday, October 23.
Alexa is Amazon’s voice service and the brain behind tens of millions of devices like the Echo family of devices including Echo Show and Echo Spot. Skills are like apps for smart phones and tablets. They provide capabilities for Alexa devices. There are now tens of thousands of skills from companies like Starbucks, Uber, and Capital One as well as other innovative designers and developers in the Alexa skill store.
1. 1st place ($2500 in devices to the winning team)
2. Runner up ($600 in devices to the runner-up team)
In order to qualify for the prize, the team must use Alexa Conversations and must have a skill submitted to certification before the end of the deadline OR code has to be open sourced on Github.
Individual/team should share the Skill-ID along with proof of the submission status. Individual/team should put together a 60 second commercial/pitch on Youtube demoing the experience and share the link during submission.
